Thank you everyone for your well wishes and for checking in on me yesterday 💬📱 pre and post drip.
My first infusion went well without any kind of reaction and now it’s just up to me to rest and wait to see how my body handles the treatment. Reactions may begin as early as today.
I want to thank my dear friend Janet Higgins for coming with me to the treatment and for teaching me cribbage. I’m told that you’re not a true Mainer🌲 until you know how to play cribbage. So thank you, Janet, for the lessons. I’m no longer “from away.”

p.s. and if you’re wondering why I’m posting at 3:22 AM, they give you a massive amount of steroids with each treatment to help the body accept the drugs. It can last up to 24 hours and then usually I crash.
