The best gift! December 25, 2023

When I got my diagnosis last November  I felt so alone and couldn’t imagine how everything I needed would be provided. So, I opened my journal and drew my first smiley face 🙂and next to it I wrote a name. And then another smiley face 😇 and another name. And another one 😘 until I had filled pages of my journal with all the people around me. It was then I knew I would be OK.

This is my chance to say a heartfelt ❤️❤️❤️ THANK  YOU 🙏🙏🙏 to you for the best gift of all: your support and love.

Some of you are fighting your own battles or have recently lost loved ones to cancer and you still are here for me, which I know is hard. I’m grateful to all of you who showed up to take me to a doctors appointment and ask questions, to come to an infusion, getting me to and from surgery or the hospital, showing up with a photo montage poster for my hospital room, flying across the country to watch my dog and then rehab me, weekly reikki sessions and prayers, and cards, lots and lots of cards! Love signs, care packages, fresh cut wreaths and coming home to a house filled with flowers. There’s so much more I can’t even list here. All of you each got me to where I am today — alive! Moving, breathing, doing when I can. Life could have so easily gone the other way.

Wishing you a magical and meaningful day.

With deepest gratitude,

Lynn. ❤️❤️❤️
