I honestly didn’t fathom I would end up in the ER again today. I had a bit of an odd reaction when a new visiting nurse was getting ready to drain my catheter this morning. I had already been dizzy and having some weird sensations and then it happened — I passed out.
Thank god my sister and the VN were here. Thank you to Hillsdale Ambulance Corp. and the great ER staff and oncology team at Hackensack UMC. I was released a few hours later with an all clear.
The ER doc told me this is part of this journey. I’m taking powerful drugs and with time my body will get used to riding the waves.
